California LB Ezekiel Noa signs with Boise State

It has been two weeks since Ezekiel Noa verbally committed to Boise State, today he officially signed his letter of intent to play for the Broncos.

The three-star recruit verbally committed to Boise State January 17. After speculations of Noa pulling his offer from Boise State, Helix High School tweeted their congratulatory confirming the 6-foot, 230-pound linebacker has committed to Boise State.




Noa is  the only two-time San Diego Section Defensive Player of the Year in section history. He also was the San Diego Section CIF Defensive Players of the Year in each of the past two seasons, as well as, the Grossmont Hills League Defensive Player of the Year.

Noa played four years at Helix High School. The linebacker compiled a 40-11 record during his career and played in the section finals three times, winning the Open Division title in 2015.

On defense, Noa racked up 92 tackles, 9.5 sacks and an interception as a senior. He also added 640 rushing yards and 152 receiving yards scoring nine total touchdowns on offense.

Noa suffered a serious knee injury in the postseason which ended his prep career, missed the section championship game after suffering an injury which required surgery in the section semifinals.

Noa also received offers from Colorado, San Diego State, Washington State and Wisconsin.
