Jay Ajayi runs wild on Steelers defense, CHOO CHOO!

A good day to be a Bronco fan. Boise State moves up in both the AP and Coaches Poll, and many of the former Broncos have had some success in the NFL this year.

In his second season in the league, former Boise State running back Jay Ajayi has had his moments this season, specifically a game-winning touchdown against the Cleveland Browns.

Today was vintage Jay-Train. Shades of what he did at Boise State is making it’s way to the professional gridiron. He performed so well, some in the media who have been critical of him gave him props for his performance Sunday afternoon.

This was Ajayi’s first 100+-yard game in the NFL, where he had 25 carries for 204 yards and 2 touchdowns. The last time a Dolphins had a running back run for 200 yards was Reggie Bush.

Just an average of over 8 yards per carry, not too shabby. He sealed the victory for the Dolphins after a 62-yard touchdown run with 0:50 remaining in the fourth quarter.

The Dolphins defeated the Steelers, 30-15.

Miami’s next game is against Buffalo, next Sunday at 11AM.
