A Bronco Classic: Boise State of Mind

Mark Twain once said, “A classic is something that everybody wants to have read and nobody wants to read.”

Here is a classic you will want to read; Boise State of Mind, The Emergence of College Football’s Grittiest Underdog. It is written by freelance writer, Joel Gunderson.

No sports fan or follower of college football can earnestly deny the mendacity of Mr. Gunderson’s book title. Long before I began writing about the Broncos, they were known as the team “that would go anywhere, play anybody anytime.”

In other words, they wanted it.

This book tells that story. It is a primer to understanding the Boise State Bronco’s rise to one of the most incredible and endearing stories in college football.

It is full of history, interviews, and tidbits any Bronco fan will embrace.
