JUCO transfer Joshua Fatu commits to Boise State’s 2016 Recruiting Class

Boise State strengthens their defensive line with their newest commit out of Long Beach City College, Joshua Fatu.

The 6-foot-2, 280 pound Fatu is a beast to say the least. The defensive tackle is rated a 3 star athlete by 247Sports.

Fatu announced his commitment on his twitter account Tuesday afternoon.

“All Glory to the MOST HIGH. Without him, none of this would be possible. Thank you to all my Coaches, Family & supporters that been rocking with me since day one. With all that being said, I’ve decided to commit to play (football) at Boise State University.”

Fatu currently holds 8 offers from Boise State, Colorado State, Hawaii, Fresno State, San Jose State, Nevada, and Power 5 schools Purdue and the recently successful Kansas State.

Fatu has tallied up 89 total tackles in his time at the JUCO level. The junior has 24.5 tackles for a loss and 17.5 sacks.

During his sophomore season, Fatu recorded 52 tackles with 14 of them being for a loss. He also recorded 9.5 sacks.
