With Boise State coming off of a loss against Fresno State in the regular season finale, the question of whether or not Boise State would host the Mountain West Conference Championship was in question.
Due to having a higher ranking than the Bulldogs, Boise State will host Fresno State on Saturday, December 2nd at 5:45 PM MT. The game will be televised on ESPN.
According to the Mountain West Conference, here is how the computer polls ended up placing the Broncos ahead.

In the four computer polls utilized by the Mountain West (Anderson & Hester, Billingsley, Colley Matrix and Wolfe), Boise State finished the season with a 30.25 average ranking, while Fresno State had a 34.25 average.

Boise State & Fresno State are both 9-3 on the season.
The last time Boise State won the Mountain West Conference Championship was in 2014 against Fresno State. The Broncos went on to defeat Arizona in the Fiesta Bowl.
