Boise State lands Navy HC’s son, LB Ali’i Niumatalolo

Tuesday evening, Boise State coaches got the call from 3-star linebacker Ali’i Niumatalolo out of Broadneck High School in Annapolis, Maryland, telling the coaching staff he was ready to commit to The Blue.

He took to twitter that evening to announce his verbal commitment to Bryan Harsin & Co.

The 6-foot-2, 220 pound inside linebacker is the son of Navy Head Football coach Ken Niumatalolo. Ali’i had interests from plenty of other big-time schools.

He was officially offered by 7 schools, including Boise State, according to 247Sports.

Niumatalolo has all the measurables and tangibles you want at the linebacker position. Looking at the film of this young man, you can tell he has a bright future ahead of him. He is a very physical player that will do just about anything to get his hands on the quarterback.

You can view just what I mean in some of the highlights below.

He is LDS, which could mean the Broncos would not be able to see him get onto the field until the fall of 2018.
