Boise State’s spring game attendance worthy amongst Power 5 schools

Bronco Nation’s Spring Game attendance beat out the likes of TCU(10,000), Wisconsin(9,630), UCLA(8,738), and the home opener opponent Washington(6,000).

Kevin McGuire, a contributor collected all spring games attendance numbers and input the data on a spread sheet. At the top of the list was Urban Meyer’s Ohio State Buckeyes with 99,391 in attendance, followed by Nebraska with 76,881.

According to McGuire’s spring game attendance data, Boise State saw a drop in this years attendance from last year’s 13,822, good enough for a Top 25 attendance amongst all football schools at 21st.

This years attendance could have been better, but due to poor weather conditions only 10,072 Bronco fans filled Albertson’s Stadium, good for 30th in the nation according to NBCSports’ data. BYU and Charlotte were the only non-power schools to finish ahead of the Broncos.
