Broncos Move Up In AP; Debut in Coaches Poll

With Boise State’s win last night over Utah State and with other schools slightly ranked ahead of them losing, the Broncos were able to move up in the rankings.

Boise State is now ranked 19th in the AP Poll, up five spots from last week’s number 24 ranking.  The Broncos made their debut in the Coaches’ Poll for the first time this season also coming in ranked 19th.

The Broncos are now the only ranked team in the Mountain West as San Diego State fell out with a loss to South Alabama yesterday. For the full AP Poll you can go here. And check out the full Coaches’ Poll here.

Boise State is on a short week and back in Mountain West play Friday night when they travel to Albuquerque take on New Mexico. Kickoff is at 7 p.m. and can be seen on the CBS Sports Network.
