Broncos Win Big, Gain Big in Coaches’ Poll

In its first Saturday of this season Boise State cruised against Hawaii 55-0 to start defense of the Mountain West championship.

Since the BYU loss Boise State has scored 52, 56, and 55 points in their games to their opponent’s mediocre 14 points combined.  And the media is starting to take notice of the Broncos once more.

Boise State has returned to the Amway Coaches’ Poll as they are ranked 24th in this week’s poll getting 100 votes.

The key point for Boise State is being the top ranked school in the ranks of the Non-Power Five Conferences.

But they have plenty of company right behind them as Memphis so far is the top challenger to Boise State.  But other schools such as Navy, Toledo, Houston, and Temple are looking to pass the Broncos and gain the automatic bid to the New Year’s six bowl game.

The entire poll can be found below.  Keep tuned to Bronco Nation News as the AP Poll will be released soon!

About Tyler Bates

Tyler Bates
Some may know him as TB, but his full name is Tyler Bates to be formal. Tyler hails his childhood days just down the road from Boise in Twin Falls. Many Bronco fans may recall him as the "straw hat guy" as he wore it for much of his time during bball games leading The Corral student section at Boise State. Since then he has graduated with a degree in Social Sciences and still spends his football home game days on the field with the marketing crew. When he's not working his day job or talking about and watching sports, you'll find him either on a long run or bike ride, skiing, or playing soccer.
