Former Boise State stand out and 2nd round draft pick Jamar Taylor may have just solidified one of the starting cornerback rolls for the Miami Dolphins. That is of course if the left quad injury he just sustained from the run is nothing serious.
In the beginning of the second quarter, in a preseason game against the Carolina Panthers, star QB Cam Newton attempts to deliver a strike down the field to TE Greg Olson. Taylor then jumps the route and intercepts the ball.
At first juggling and then securing the ball with both hands, he takes it 27 yards the other way and nearly in for a touchdown.

Since being in the NFL, Taylor has been plagued with injuries. He’s played a total of 21 games, recorded 34 tackles, and no interceptions. With the starting position possibly his to lose, let’s hope this injury is minor.
