Former Boise State players encourage fans to fill stadium for MW Conference Championship

Social media is a great way to get your message out. You can promote upcoming events, keep the public informed of breaking news, and you can even have ambassadors of your football program reach out to fans.

That’s exactly what is happening on Twitter with some former Boise State Football players.

Multiple players from different eras of Boise State Football have gone out of their way to encourage fans to attend the Mountain West Conference Championship against No. 25 Fresno State this Saturday at Albertsons Stadium.

Former Boise State defensive back Wes Nurse (1999-2003) is currently the Director of Football Operations at UC Davis (Under Coach Dan Hawkins), he even took the time to post on twitter with Boise State gear, encouraging fans to attend this Saturday.

“We need each and every one of you at the game this Saturday versus Fresno State. We need a sea of blue and orange to show our support and bring home a title back to Boise. Just remember Go Orange, Go Big Blue, Fight, Fight… You know the rest. Go Broncos.”
