Former Boise State running back/current RB for the Philadelphia Eagles Jay Ajayi suffered a torn ACL and has been placed on injured reserve. He suffered the injury against the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday.
Ajayi will not be back this season.
This is the last year of his contract, he will go into free agency with the torn ACL.
“Jay is a big part of what we’ve done. It’s an injury that will impact us here… he’s done a really nice job. The playing time that he has got thus far in the season, really pleased with his production…” said Offensive Coordinator Mike Groh.
