Former players take part in Boise State’s Pro Day

As the Bronco football team heads into the heart of spring ball, former players are taking part in Boise State’s pro day.

Designed for players to showcase their football abilities in a series of physical demanding drills, Boise State’s pro day features fifteen former athletes. While twelve of these players suited up for the Broncos in 2016, three other participants also look to make a name for themselves.

Here’s how they performed at Boise State pro day:

  • Terrell Johnson, Holden Huff, and Armand Nance played for the Broncos in 2015

Showing up for Boise State pro day were scouts and coaches from around the NFL. Initially there was an estimated 17 teams on hand:

Before the event concluded, it was estimated that 26 NFL team representatives were present.

Chaz Anderson:  30 Receptions, 386 Yards Receiving

Travis Averill: Started all 13 games, All-Mountain West 1st team

Holden Huff: 18 Receptions, 243 Yards Receiving, 3 TD’s

Raymond Ford: 30 Total Tackles, 1 Interception

Chancellor James: 80 Total Tackles, 3 Interceptions, All-Mountain West 2nd team

Terrell Johnson: 4 Receptions, 9 Yards Receiving

Jonathan Moxey: 50 Total Tackles, 13 Pass Breakups, All- Mountain West 2nd team

Sam McCaskill: 50 Total Tackles, 6.5 Sacks, All-Mountain West 1st team

Armand Nance: 31 Total Tackles, 3.5 Sacks

Tyler Rausa: 9-13 Field Goals, 58-58 PAT’s

Thomas Sperbeck: 80 Receptions, 1,272 Yards Receiving, 9 TD’s, All-Mountain West 1st team

  • Had the fastest unofficial 40 time: 4.47 seconds

Tanner Vallejo: 69 Total Tackles, All-Mountain West honorable mention

Sean Wale: 50 Punts averaging 45.0 Yards, All-Mountain West 2nd team

Ben Weaver: 108 Total Tackles, All-Mountain West 2nd team

Mario Yakoo: All-Mountain West 1st team, 38 Career Starts

The NFL Draft

The NFL Draft is scheduled to air April 27th-29th.
