The early signing for football high school commits this year will be Dec 19th to the 21st.
As expected, the elite programs have their recruits pretty much locked in by now. Between now and December 19th there will be some de-committing and shifting.
Currently, Boise State seems to have a slow start. They have only five hard commits: Hank Bachmeier a quarterback, Casey Kline an athlete, Ben Dooley an offensive tackle, Kegan Duncan a running back, and Jacob Golden an offensive tackle.
These recruits are solid football players. If Boise is able to attract another 15 who will fit between where they are currently ranked, it will be Boise State’s best recruiting class.
On The Horizon
Darien Chase received an offer from the Broncos but has already grabbed a handful from some PAC schools. He is a 6’1”185-pound athlete.
George Holani, a 6’0” 195-pound running back from Bellflower, California, is interested in scoring TDs on The Blue. He also has offers from several P5 schools.
Donovan West is a 6’3”290-pound offensive tackle from Mission Hills, California. He has more than a dozen offers.
AJ Vongphachach form Pasco, Washington appears to be interested in becoming one of the next great Bronco linebackers. He’s 6’2” and 225 and an incredible pass rusher.
Skylar Loving-Black (hopefully Loving-Blue) is a 6’3”215-pound tight end from San Jose, California. He has about 20 offers. Interestingly, many from the Ivy League. He has to be smart.
Those are some little rays of sunshine that may be just beyond the horizon for the Broncos. However, recruiting is full of surprises. Stay tuned.
