Joe Martarano will not play vs Air Force due to injury

It’s the final week of Boise State’s regular season, the boys in blue do not have school this week which gives them some extra time to study the triple option offense that Air Force brings.

Boise State head coach Bryan Harsin talked to the media on Monday to discuss Air Force, some of their keys performers, as well as an update on Boise State LB Joe Martarano who was injured in Friday’s game against UNLV.

“He’s out. Fractured¬†fibula, it’s a lower leg injury that’s going to keep him out..” said Harsin.

The injury was so bad that even ESPN wouldn’t show the replay.

Harsin did say that he would be out for the Air Force game, but mentioned that him playing in the bowl game is uncertain.

The Fruitland, Idaho native has a total of 120 tackles in his career.

Check out Bronco Nation News later in the week for who fills the shoes of Tanner Vallejo and Joe Martarano.
