Khyheem Walheed, New Commit Wide Receiver for Boise State

Khyheem Waleed has just committed to Boise State. Khyheem is a 6’3” 190-pound wide receiver from Queen Creek, Arizona.

In two season he has 39 receptions with a total of 805 yards for better than a 20 yard per catch average.

Khyheem had offers from Iowa State, Michigan State, Arizona, and Arizona State. Oregon, Oregon State, California, SMU, UCLA, Vanderbilt, and UNLV.

We were not able to find his speed in the forty but just looking at him it may be in the 4.5 range. Nobody seems to catch up with him.

He looks as if he may be the next Cedric Wilson/John Hightower.

Khyheem discussed his commitment to the Broncos with 247Sports’ Blair Angulo:

“The people really stood out to me out there,” Waleed told 247Sports. “It’s a small city, but there’s just great people. I also love that they run their offense through their receivers, coach Eric Kiesau is a great coach and they all know how to put people in the NFL. He knows what he’s talking about and knows what he’s doing, so I feel really comfortable going up there.

“Boise State has the capacity to compete against Power Five schools. I know there is a game against Florida State next season and I know Boise State is a big-time program that will be in a bowl game every year and be very competitive.”

Khyheem still has a scheduled visit to Indiana. There are no real comparisons between the two programs.

In the last 20 years, the Hoosiers have had only one winning season. They haven’t won their conference since 1945.

Let’s see, Khyheem the Dream.

Anyway, welcome to The Blue Mr. Waleed. You are free to make your presence known.
