Kyle Juergens Opts For BSU Over USC

It’s hard to be excited about offensive linemen. They snap the ball and block. Watching Boise State’s latest commit certainly changes that perspective.

Kyle Juergens is an exciting offensive lineman as you will ever see. Although not possessing great bulk (6’4.5” and just north of 240) he more than makes up for it in quickness, aggressiveness, and footwork seldom found in linemen. He is rated a three-star.

Kyle originally committed to USC. And get this, recruited by former Boise State position coach, Chad Kauha’aha’a. Not only did he have offers from USC, but offers also came in from Arizona, BYU, Nevada, and San Diego State.

He played his high school football at St Margaret’s Episcopal School in San Juan Capistrano, California. There he played on offense and defense. However, it is on offense that he really performs best.

He has room for some added muscle and maybe a little lineman baby fat—but not too much. That may mean a redshirt year. Beyond that, it looks as if he’ll have a bright future.

Kyle, welcome to the Blue!
