Local DL Keeghan Freeborn Stays Home “In A Place I Love”

“It feels great to stay home in a place I love” was the first thing Defensive Lineman Keeghan Freeborn said when we got in touch on Thursday evening, adding that his friends and family were soaking in his big decision to continue his football career and education 14 miles east from his high school stomping-grounds.

The Rocky Mountain High-product said he’s most looking forward to the football opportunity and education he will get at his hometown University where he wants to “continue to make the team and the community (better).”

Boise State’s newest commit may be a Defensive Lineman, but he draws inspiration from the running back position.

“I always liked the way Jay Ajayi played, he went downhill 24/7.”

He also looks up to Oakland Raiders Running Back Marshawn Lynch. “He is all about the game and I love it.”

Freeborn feels that he and Boise State Head Coach Bryan Harsin have a good relationship.

“We understand that I am here to put in the work” he said before adding “The biggest thing for (Bronco Nation) to know is that I am going to bring in hard work and determination with everything I do.”

He did add one other thing too.

“The uniforms are pretty sweet-looking.”
