Offensive Lineman, Ben Dooley Commits to Broncos

Boise State just received a commitment from Ben Dooley. He is a 6’5” 279-pound offensive lineman from Fallon, Nevada. Congratulations to Ben and his family! Welcome to the Bronco family.

247 Sports has him ranked at three stars and 174th in the country at his position.

Normally, what that means is he will likely redshirt a year to bring him closer to the collegian threshold. However, if you’re ready to play, there’s no delay.

This brings to five the total number of commits for the 2019 graduating class. Dooley is the second offensive lineman. Jacob Golden of Peoria, Arizona committed in June.

At this point, Dooley is big and strong enough. He will face men as strong and stronger than him.

Coaches look for the delicate balance of talent, strength, and heart. From that foundation skill and technique can be built.

From what can be observed on video he needs to have a little stronger footwork and come quicker off the snap.

Mr. Dooley, welcome to an elite program. The Broncos have passed over a lot of talented players to get to you.

We hope to hear someday; “Did you see Dooley flatten that guy?”
