As well as some big NY6 Bowl dreams on the line. The battle between the Boise State Broncos and the Oklahoma State Cowboys is the first-ever between the schools.

On Tuesday, some of Oklahoma State’s players talked with the local media about the upcoming matchup this Saturday.

Here are some of the thoughts from the players of Oklahoma State on Boise State.

Oklahoma State QB Taylor Cornelius

Video via The Oklahoman:

“I remember watching it (Fiesta Bowl 2007). Really just the Kellen Moore era. Slinging the rock around, and then the blue turf and then obviously the Fiesta Bowl… the hook and ladder and then the Statue of Liberty.”

Oklahoma State WR Tyron Johnson

Interview via Zachary Lancaster:

“I’m impressed. I like watching them. (Boise State secondary)…  I like good corners, I like a challenge… They lost one guy to the first round (Leighton Vander Esch), and 10 return. They know each other well, they know the scheme well. That’s what they do, they play together… The matchup is perfect, it’s speed-on-speed,” said Johnson.

Boise State will face off against Oklahoma State in Stillwater this Saturday, September 15th at 1:30PM MST on ESPN.

Make sure to keep visiting for more game week coverage.
