Boise State’s potential starting quarterback Ryan Finley was arrested and charged early Saturday morning for resisting or obstructing officers and minor in possession of an alcoholic beverage, according to Dave Southorn of the Idaho Statesman.
Finley(20) is the favorite heading into fall camp, but he will still be fighting his way to rise above the rest of the quarterback group. The sophomore is the lone individual out of the quarterback group who had any playing time last season.
He played in a total of five games, and made his season debut against Air Force after coach Bryan Harsin benched senior quarterback Grant Hedrick. On the season, Finley completed 12 of his 27 attempts, for 161 yards and two touchdowns.

Whether this effects the quarterback race is yet to be seen. Rypien, Stuart, and Ogle will all be gunning even more so for that starting position.
