Raymond Dennis signs with Boise State Hoops

Raymond Dennis, a 6’2” point guard from Oswego, Illinois, signed a letter of intent yesterday to enroll at Boise State.

Dennis’s offers included 21 schools. He verbally committed to Broncos September 4, 2018.

247 Sports ranks him a three-star recruit.

Last year, Ray J averaged 17.2 points per game and 4.9 assists. He connected on 39% from beyond the three-point stripe.

He commented to Bronco Country of 247 Sports, “When I took my visit down there, I wasn’t sure what to expect,” he said. “The city was really nice, it was bigger than I expected, and the people were awesome. I got to play with the players. I loved playing with them and I fit in really well. It is my style of play and Boise is the perfect fit for me.”

“First and foremost I want to thank God. I also want to thank my family, teammates, coaches, and trainers who have helped me through this long process. I want to say thank you to my parents who have spent all of their time, money and effort to help me reach a major goal. I want to also thank Coach Rice and the rest of the staff for believing in me. This has been a long hard process but I am excited to say that I am 110% committed to … Boise State University.”

Ray J’s court presence is exceptional. He runs both ends of the court well and appears always ready to make something happen.

Welcome to The Bell, Ray J.
