Report: Dallas Cowboys release Kellen Moore

According to Ian Rapoport of, the Dallas Cowboys have released former Boise State quarterback Kellen Moore. The release of Moore doesn’t mean he can’t come back to the team according to Rapoport.

Moore is still being considered for the practice squad.

Cowboys owner Jerry Jones has had high praise for Kellen during his time in Dallas.

Excerpt via Star-Telegram:

“Jerry Jones famously said “Moore’s got it” and Cowboys offensive coordinator Scott Linehan said, Moore “has as good of instincts of anyone in the game I’ve ever been around.”

Moore did not play last season due to being placed on injured reserve. We will keep you updated on any news regarding Kellen.
